Five Wonderful Things about my Husband

Our local paper does something called the Friday Five and just highlights five things about the area on that particular Friday. My friend Annie, who posts a "Thursday Thirteen" posted a Friday Five before as well. So...when is Rome.... Here is my Friday Five: Five Wonderful things about my husband---yes it is hard to narrow them down, but I'll leave it at 5 for the sake of the title.

1) He is an AMAZING father
. He helps me research the best foods to feed our children and some of the best educational games, ideas, etc. Additionally he shows them so much conditional love. Even with his back in agony I will find him on the floor playing with the kids. Xylie and Zayden both adore him. You can see it on their faces. He's the type of father I always dreamed that my kids would have. He love God and he loves his wife and he adores those little pumpkins!

2) He's a wonderful provider. We may not live in a Hollywood mansion, but Napp is a wonderful provider in that he works so hard and thinks out of the box to bring in additional income so I can stay home with the kids. He also is doing a wonderful job taking care of our budget and finances. I am so not good with numbers and if I did that job, we'd be bankrupt.

3) He shows me unconditional love. It's hard to imagine that someone as cute and lovable as me could ever be anything less, but I'll let you in on a little secret...shhhh....I can be pretty darn ornery when I feel stressed. I've also packed on 10 pounds after I lost my "baby weight" from Zayden, and I am still dealing with some PPD issues that have me crying one minute, nervous the next, and then irritated the next after that. Napp doesn't condemn me, he just loves me. Sure, I've gotten on his nerves a lot lately, but he forgives me readily and does his best to understand his very complicated wife.

4) He takes good care of car maintenance. When I was praying for a husband, I put up a few selfish requests like, "Please make him be a clean freak and Please make him know how to take care of a car." God answered yes concerning the car. Napp's not a mechanic, but he is always on top of things regarding car care. He keeps the oil checked, takes the vehicles in for routine checks, rain X's the windows, buys new windshield wipers, etc. He's so good. And I so appreciate him.

5) His sense of humor. Napp has a dry and almost warped sense of humor. Sometimes it is an acquired taste. And often I don't like to let him know how truly funny he is because of the way he cracks himself up! But I will admit in this post that even if I am rolling my eyes, I am inwardly busting a gut!

I love you Napp!

Yes, I agree. Warped is an adequate description for Napp's humor! I'm a relative; I can get away with saying it!!
And yes, we all love him. He is a great Daddy and Hubby. He is equally lucky to have you. Talk to you soon -
