Friday Five

Here are 5 random updates

• My mom is recuperating from her surgery. She's been admitted to the hospital and is in a private rooms. Her infection is pretty bad so they are still doing tests to find out what is going on and she is still in a lot of pain.
• Napp arrived safely in New Orleans and is doing well.
• Napp's back is still a source of pain. He is doing more physical therapy now and if this round does not work he will be considering surgery. The back surgery that he would need is not as invasive as many other types.
• So far the kids and I are doing well with Napp being away. The trickiest part will be walking our dog at the best times because of her needing a night time walk and an early morning one and at least one afternoon one...coordinating with naps and sleeping, etc. is tricky. We have lots of neighbors close by so I at least feel very safe and our next door neighbor is the Sheriff so we're in good hands.
• Napp and I are both enjoying our new city and making lots of friends.
