Today our plucky nephew Jack is 6-months-old. He weighs 17 lbs and measures 27.5 inches long. Jack's recent passions include playing in his exersaucer, squealing at glass-shattering decibels, and eating carrots and cereal. I especially love the picture of him napping in his highchair. His mommy, my sister Maranda, was notorious for falling asleep face-down in her food when she was a baby. Happy half-birthday sweet "Jackie Mo."

Thank you so much for that very sweet post. It's hard to believe our little guy is already half a year old!!! Today Jack tried prunes for the first time and actually liked them.
