Job News

Napp has found a job as an Assistant Professor of American Politics at Oxford University! We're moving to Europe! The position starts this summer, which is not usual and means we'll be moving overseas in May. I know that some of you may feel very upset by this news, but please don't be. It's only an April Fools joke! Did I get anyone? Probably not.

Every year for April Fools Day Napp plays the same joke on me...he short sheets our bed. And every year I fall for it. Not this year baby, I'm ready. I'm not sure why I fell for it. My mother is infamous for playing April Fool's jokes so I've always been on guard on April 1st. Another reason why I should never fall for the short sheet trick is because Napp makes our bed ONCE a year. Yep, that's right. Once a year...on April Fool's Day so he can short sheet it. This year, I've remembered, but funny because this is the year it will be physically impossible for him to short sheet. Oh well, I'll be ready next year too. I hope so anyway.

Hope ya'll have a great day.

You had me for a minute. I was thinking what a cool experience that would be. I keep forgetting it is April Fools.

My name is Shawna Lee Gullible!! Of course, I so want something wonderful for you that I'll believe anything. After the rollercoaster of March that we had, April can only be better. Right?

You totally got me! I even called you (before reading on) and your line was busy. Just so you know, the conversation on my end would have sounded like this:

"I'm so happy for you! This is so exciting! I can't believe you didn't call to tell me!...." I'm sure that would have been followed by loud laughter on your part.

I owe you big!
