Updates and Friday's Fabulous Find

Forgive the bullet list, but there is a busy day ahead.

  1. PapPap - Please continue to pray for my PapPap who is in the hospital. As many of you know, PapPap suffered a massive brain bleed last year and currently lives in a nursing home. Although my family visits him often, PapPap's care at the home has been negligent. He was rushed to the ER on Wed. evening due to a septic infection. His second since January.
  2. Xylie - She returned home yesterday and it is good to have her back. Her Nannie took excellent care of our precious girl while she was in Georgia and she returned with lots of goodies.
  3. Braces off - My braces came off yesterday. Can I get a woohoo? Thank you. I love the new look. My teeth feel so smooth and clean. Now, to answer the question - the first thing I ate when I came home was a big juicy apple! On my way home, I stopped at Publix and bought the biggest, roundest, shiniest, organic, Rome apple (I wanted a Pink Lady b/c they are my favorite, but they weren't looking too sharp) I could fine. I took it home, washed it and chomped into it. Man that felt good. I am feeling a little sore, but it is wonderful to have them off and I do so love my new smile. It's not perfect, but it does not embarrass me either and the best thing is that my bit has been corrected enough that my teeth won't fall out in my 40's. I'm having major issues with my USB cord (Z-man tried to eat it) so I cannot share any pix now, but maybe later.
  4. Winner of my contest- Robin Smith of Just Plain Blessed, had the lucky number and ironically, her second guess was correct. Robin, I will take your prize to MOPS.
  5. Becoming Me won a blog award. I am also posting stories about my PPD journey. Please visit the site when you are able and pass the link along to those who may find it a blessing. Thanks.
