Yesterday, we welcomed Sadie to the family. Sadie is a stuffed Yorkshire piggy sent to Pumpkindoodle by her Nina (my mom). She was sent with a doll-sized baby bottle of "milk." Since her arrival, she's been part of the family. I feel as though I am reliving parts of Charlotte Web and knowing my daughter, we probably are. Last evening PD entered the kitchen and asked me if I had any pastries for Sadie. Luckily, the stuffed piglet is happy feasting on imaginary grub. For those of you who enjoyed reading about PD's hair posts, I decided to take some pictures of her in all her bed headed splendor.
Sadie was just one highlight of our fun weekend. Yesterday, the kids and I attended the Low Country Women's Conference at our church with guest Speaker, Jill Swanson. The kids stayed in childcare while I got to attend seminars on health and fitness and listen to a fabulous speaker talk about stepping up for God. We also left with some fashion and beauty tips that I'll have to share later. When we came back from the event, we were greeted with two packages from Nina. One contained Sadie and lots of other goodies and the other included an animal print raincoat and matching rain boats for pd.
Below are some pictures of a playdate we attended on Thursday. Z-man had a good time just a swingin. There are few things cuter than chubby baby toes.

They are so cute! And glad to see PD doesn't have spaghetti in her hair! :-)
