Freaky Friday with the Naz's

As I shared, Dr. N returned home returned last Friday and while we didn't exchanged fortune cookies at a Chinese Restaurant, something bizarre seems to have happened.

Our personalties have been altered. If you know me, you may refer to me as a Type A personality (a bit high strung, energetic, go-getter, planner, organizer, etc.) I have/had those tendencies.

If you know Dr. N, you would say he's a Type B personality (even-keel, laid-back, procrastinator, etc.). In fact, sometimes I think he's a Type B on Valium. And I'm sure he'd say there were times I was a Type A on steroids.

But back to today. We're getting ready to move and have tons to do. Our apartment is dirty and in disarray. What am I doing? Why, I'm taking time to blog, make sweet tea, and think peaceful thoughts! What is Dr. N doing? He's tense...and more than a bit annoyed with his cucumber cool wife. Last night he said, "Angel, you're making me nervous."

For me, I think it's the Lexapro. No doubt. For him...could there be truth to yin and yang? Perhaps God really does design marriages to have one of each extreme to keep things balanced. What do you think?

So odd, but the one who is usually told to "lighten up" is thinking, "everyone needs to chill!"

Big Smiles to ya, Mrs. N.

type A on steroids! I love it! That is me exactly, I may have to borrow that description.

Hope the rest of the packing, cleaning, moving goes well!

I have found that most of the time when I am more type B Robbie becomes more type A. Thank goodness it happens like that most of the time. The times we are both type A... Well everyone just better watch out. Oh and I am so type A on steriods.lol

I agree that spouses usually compliment one another...when I am high strung...heis laid back...and vice versa! I love that! If we were both the same...oh, I don't want to even think about it!

Happy packing! We are moving soon too! I am so not looking forward to all the boxes! I do not want to even think about it!

We go through that. If I'm high strung my husband is calm. If I'm calm, he's high strung. GO figure.

I love how God does that. When I am down, Dave is usually up and vice versa. :) On those rare occasions when we are too stuborn to ask for God's help and we are both down...well it's just not pretty! :) It is kinda sad for the one who is up though. Kind of a bummer to be happy and have to deal with a grumpy spouse.
Glad you are relaxed about the move!

How FUNNY! Monty is like Dr. N and of course I am super high strung. It would be hilarious to swap it out and watch him stress for once.
