I'm always at a loss when it comes to writing posts of the mish-mash variety. It's hard to be clever with a bunch of unrelated facts...so here is an uncreative bullet list update.
- Flooded - Our apartment has a faulty toilet in the master bathroom and roots stuck in the pipes. Earlier this week, thanks to some big bulldozers and some plumbers (none named Joe) the pipe problem has been fixed. The toilet still has some issues. Long story short, our bedroom has been majorly flooded twice...currently the furniture has been removed and that includes our computer. I've been able to use Dr. Ns laptop from time to time, but that's why I have not been posting much lately and also why I have no pictures to share.
- Fall Fun - Tomorrow we are going to Ashville for the weekend. Afterward, the kids and I are going to Mema's farm for a week. Earlier this week, X and I went to a large pumpkin patch and had a blast...I cannot wait to share pictures. We also went to a fall festival last night at a local church. X created her own costume and Z was a police officer...very cute.
- New Baby - While visiting Mema, I am going to Florida for a day or two to visit my dear friends Casandra and John who just had their first baby, Josiah. X & Z will stay at the farm with their nannie while I am gone. Z is a big mommy's boy, so I am not sure how long I'll be able to slip away.
- My Thyroid - I have been diagnosed with a thyroid disorder...nothing major, but I will go on some medication. I had a scan done yesterday and should get the results and start the therapy soon. We're still not sure if the joint pain is related to the thyroid or not...The Dr. just ruled out Celliac...so it is either thyroid related or RA.

Bless your heart! Hope you have a great trip and some relaxing time away from the hassles you've been dealing with at home.
I hope you have a wonderful break, especially having some time away from the children
xx
I sure hope things go well with your thyroid. My twin has issues with her thyroid.
I love Asheville. I bet it's pretty there this time of year!
