There are times when the X-Factor will make an out-of-the-blue type of statement that leaves Dr. N. and I with quizzical expressions thinking, "Hmmm....really?"
Here is an example that occurred during today's lunch when talked turned to her upcoming birthday. (Dr. N and I were eating pork and rice, X asked for left over Mac & Cheese instead.)
"When I am five, I'm going to start eating more types of food. I'll eat rice and chicken and stuff when I turn five. Because when I'm five I'll be older and better at things like that. It's just what five-year-old's do."
Hmmm...really? I hope so

Cute story.
Lol!!! I said stuff like that when I was a kid too. It always made my parents crack up.
One can hope! Maybe as it's her idea it will stick :)
Hi there . . . don't count on your little one eating those new things too quickly . . . they have their own pace!
Happy Thanksgiving!
What a cute little story! Such a thinker on your hands!
