The X-Factor changes career goals as often as she changes her shirts...and that's OK, because she's five.
Over the past few years she has wanted to be a professional princess, Ballerina, basketball player and actress. She has also aspired to be a party planner and the next food Network star...and once was sure that she would one day become a ballet teacher.
Recently she settled on the dream of being an American Idol...she would say it with such conviction too "When I grow up, I am going to win American Idol because singing is my talent!"
However, she now thought it wise to have a back up plan and I promise you I did not try to sway her in the direction of choosing a back up plan because...she's FIVE.
She came to me and said, "Mommy, when I grow up, I am still going to be on American Idol, but if I don't win, that's OK. If I don't win, I'm going to be a Meteorologist instead because that way I can do science stuff that I love AND get to be on TV which I will also love!"
Sounds like a good plan to me.

Wow!! That is awesome. When I was 3, I wanted to be a "kitty cat." Yep. Or Rainbow Brite. I think I'd take either one.
Too cute! and what wisdom!

WOW! That is impressive for as young as she is. Hannah wants to be a hair dresser, she I am sure will change her mind about a hundred more times before she turns ten. I was the same way. I think I am set now though.
