Xylie's Happy Thanksgiving List

Happy Thanksgiving!

We'll be laying low today enjoying time with our small family and missing our extended family members. If Napp is feeling up to it, we'll have Thanksgiving Dinner at our new friend's Karen and Ted Gilchrist's home at 5 pm. The Gilchrist's are having a late dinner because they will be serving others today at Midland Park. If Napp is not feeling better, the kids and I will go and bring him home some turkey.

Yesterday, I did make some time to talk to Xylie about Thanksgiving and we colored some pages that I downloaded. Since our dinner is later today and I have absolutely no cooking to do for it, I think we will make a hand and foot turkey this afternoon.

Today, Xylie woke up grumpy. So while we were eating breakfast we started writing down all the things for which she is thankful. She cheered up. The list is long and fabulous. I will post it below and I hope you like reading it. Please don't feel bad if you didn't make the list, she's not quite 4 and cannot remember every friend and relative that she has ever met, so she mentioned mostly those who were fresh in her mind. Her order is pretty random and I used her wording. Also to Xylie Thankful and Happy are synonymous.
