Here are some pictures of our homemade decorations that Xylie made and our advent wreath and calendar. Each night, Xylie cuts out a chunk from the calendar says something she is thankful for, prays and then gets to eat a chocolate chip. Last Sunday we lit the Advent candle of Hope. Xylie LOVED doing that. We also have two Nativities. One that I set up and one that Xylie set up---actually 3. She made one out of clay pots last year at church and she has that set up with the plastic figures she borrowed from Aunt JeanAnn.
Our plans for the holidays are as follows. We're going to Georgia for a party on the 15th. We'll be home on the 16th, I am not sure when we are leaving. Crazy trip. Since we missed THanksgiving with Napp's family though we really want to make their annual Christmas party.
On the 22nd we leave for PA. We'll probably get there in the
afternoon of the 23rd. That evening we are going to go to the nursing home where PapPap is and have a Birthday Party for Jesus. Xylie is really looking forward to it.
