Back Surgery

After more than one-year of excruciating pain radiating down his leg, Napp has opted for back surgery. He's tried every other venue available to him and his orthopedist believes that surgery is the only solution. We found out Friday night after our party that his surgery is scheduled for sometime Friday, Feb. 22. (His doctor called that evening and left a message on our machine, but didn't tell us the time of the surgery). I'll be taking him to the hospital and staying their during the procedure (pray that we can find childcare). He'll be in the hospital for 1-2 days and will recover in about 2 weeks or so. His condition is similar to the one showed here on the left. He has a very large herniated disc that is pushing on an inflamed nerve. Please keep Napp in prayers this week, for the surgery to be a success, and during his recovery.
