I entered a writing contest about friendship. The theme was heart sister or best friend. Honestly, I have two best friends, my husband, and my Jesus. However, I have many women who are my heart sisters and for this contest, I chose to write about my dear friend Jaime. Please check it out. Every comment I get counts as a vote. Your entry brought tears to my eyes. I spent a week in the hospital last year for depression. I know how horrible it can be. God put a heart sister in my life, too.
Please let me know if there is ever anything I can do if you need help.

This is so embarassing. I almost wish you would have disguised my name to "Jane" or something else.
Seriously, God gets the credit. He is the One who put us in each others' paths and He is the One who teaches us how to love. Angela, you have been just as great of a friend to me and many others.
Also, you make me laugh because of your wacky sense of humor that I can relate to. I LOVE that you're not afraid to be real. You make it easy to be friends with you. Who wouldn't want to be friends with someone who can laugh, be real and is ALWAYS kind to others? You are a safe place. Your words are always uplifting and I enjoy soaking in your wisdom.
Thanks for making me out to be a hero but I didn't do anything you wouldn't have done.
