Please keep in prayer the family of my PapPap's good friend Michael Weller. Michael's son and sister both need prayer. Son Richard, age 39, was recently diagnosed with bone cancer and sister Tara Pidgo had a heart attack. Michael is of course very upset by the news.
And some good news just came to me from Lake City Florida. Our dear friend's John and Casandra Wheeler are expecting their first baby on Oct. 1! John and Casandra are good secret keepers...they are just now spreading the word and Casandra is 20 weeks along! In fact, they already know that they are having a boy! I usually don't use many exclamation points, but Casandra is a heart sister from my days in Orlando. I'm so excited for her and John. Anyone who knows John may also be interested to hear that his younger brother, Dr. Mark is getting married in Aug.
The last piece of news I have is that I won the Heart sister writing contest. Jaime and I each get a book and a CD. Thanks to everyone for voting. And on a side note, Becoming Me has been ranked in the top 50 now on blogspots.
