Where a Kid Can Be Terrorized by a Giant Mouse

Last night while organizing, I found a sandwich sized plastic baggy filled with Chuck-E-Cheese tokens, so after lunch and errands today, I pulled into the CEC parking lot. Before during so, I asked the X-Factor if she thought she could handle one more stop and would do so without grumbling and complaining. She was up to the task.

Before I could get the word "Surprise" out of my mouth, my sweet, sweet girl said, "Oh Chuck E Cheese. I love this place. Do you think we can go here tomorrow mommy, when we aren't busy?"

How sweet was that?

My reply. "Nope, not tomorrow."

"O.K., Well, maybe just sometime in the future?"

"Mommy has a better idea, how about right now? This is your surprise!"

She was delighted. We spent about 45 minutes playing and didn't spend a dime on tokens or food (I did buy a sweet tea and X asked for water).

Z-Man was terrified by Chuck E. so we avoided that corner of the room. Here are some photos of my kids being kids...because I guess anywhere else kids have to be astronauts, or lion tamers or something other than children.

How fun! Looks like they had a blast. My daughter would love it there. My son on the other hand would be scared of chucky.

What a wonderful surprise, it looks like everyone had a great time. I can't get over how much older Z-man looks. Love you guys!!! P.S.) I'm sure Jack would not like Chuck E. very much either!

Isn't CEC the best!! My girls love that place too...I try and keep a stack of those coins for days I just need a break and the kids need to run and play...we don't always go and spend money on the pizza ;-) McKenzie is like Z-man, she is afraid of that big mouse too!

How cool - I know she was SUPER excited. Yeah, Bug don't "do" anything in costume like that.
Great pictures!

How absolutely sweet is the X-Factor!!! That touched my heart. Sometimes children remind us that being small doesn't mean they can't teach us or minister to us. Yesterday the Tongginator rubbed my back and I felt so loved.
