Yesterday was "Show and Tell" at X-Factor's school. Guess which mom flaked out and sent her child to school on such a special day empty-handed? Yep. Grrr.
I'm thankful that my sweet girl with a grace-filled heart was quick to forgive. "That's OK mommy, I wasn't the only one with no show to tell about. Just remember next time OK?"

I agree with Lisa! A bad mother wouldn't care one smidge. You're not a bad mother, sweetie, but I definitely understand your guilt. What a beautiful child to forgive so freely. ;-) Sounds like you're raising her right!
kids are so forgiving!
She's so new to the school that I'm sure you're still figuring out the schedule and getting special events like that on the calendar! It's never easy to start your kid mid-stream in a class...you're bound to miss a couple of things. How sweet that X already has a forgiving heart.
