Yesterday, we sat down to lunch, Angela looked out the window and said "it's snowing!" I could hardly believe it; because, Athens rarely gets snow. My first reaction was, "cool, but it's going to melt as it hits the ground." Boy was I wrong. The snow just kept coming all afternoon. There were really big flurries at its peak. Some parts of Athens reported 7.5 inches. The kids have had a blast playing in it, and since classes are canceled today, I've been able to take them out several times. What a great March surprise. Now, I'm definitely ready for Spring. Here are some pictures:

I LOVE that last picture! It seems like there were snow storms all over. We had one on Saturday and got over 4 inches. It was crazy because it was in the upper 60's last week. I think it will all melt soon because it is supposed to warm up again this week.
LOL! Here in north GA we didn't get any snow.
