Nazzy News Bites

Here are the Headlines

Rest in Peace Sprinkles - X-Factor's beloved Beta fish, Sprinkles, passed away this weekend. He lived with us since August. The X-Factor mourned his passing, but wanted no part in his deep sea (sewer) burial. She asked me to secretly flush her deceased pet and clean out his aquarium when she was not looking. X-Factor has requested a replacement. When told that she could have a new fish once we move this summer she smiled and said, "This time I'm going to pick out a green fish and name him Brownie." Thank goodness my OCD is under control, because six months ago that news would have stirred some panic in my heart. I did inquire why she would choose the name "Brownie" for a green fish and she quickly replied, "Because it's just a good name."

I Baptize you Mommy... - The kids and I went to the pool today. As I was balancing X-Factor on my hip and holding onto Z-man's float boat, my daughter put one of her hands on my forehead and the other on the back of my neck. Without warning she dipped my head backward into the water. When I emerged, she said "I Baptized you!"

VBS Fun - Our church is hosting an island themed Vacation Bible School this week. X-factor attends and is loving every moment.

Princeton Bound - Dr. N. will be doing some summer teaching at Princeton this summer. He'll be teaching gifted high schoolers. I'm not going to make the when public knowledge.

It's about time you were properly baptized lol.
I'm also having lots of fun at VBS. Those of us in the snack shack are planning a particularly fun snack our little wave riders tomorrow.

The fish...We just lost our beta about a month and a half ago, Jaren had dubbed it "Sprinkle Sparkle Young." So both sprinkles met their poopy demises this summer. Aww! BTW, Praise God for the job offer and even more praise you didn't end up in Kent. That place would throw even the happiest of people into a depression.
